Home Care Services

 

(1) Assisting with dressing, self-feeding, oral hygiene, hair care, grooming, toileting, and bathing.

All daily activities are discreetly charted by home care companion, being respectful and building that bond and trust is imperative to be successful. We don't want our clients to feel scrutinized or judged. We feel this information can be captured and used by client, clients representative or company to provide the best care plan possible for the client.

​

(2) Providing standby assistance.

​

A peace of mind that you or your loved on is safe when doing daily or weekly activities that may cause concern for an accident or a fall. This is especially the case post surgery and treatments, we have trained in the different symptoms for all types of situations a client may be facing. Being cautious and aware of the clients abilities at all times.

​

(3) Providing verbal or visual reminders to the client to take regularly scheduled medication, which includes bringing the client

previously set-up medication, medication in original containers, or liquid/food to accompany the medication.

​

This information is also captured on out daily activity log for a client. Making sure the client is taking scheduled medications and more important addressing with client or clients family if the client is refusing or mistaking medications.

(4) Providing verbal or visual reminders to the client to perform regularly scheduled treatments and exercises.

​

We have developed fun and innovative verbal and visual reminders for clients to perform regular scheduled treatment. Respectfully rewarding client with an activity they enjoy or a special little snack is a wonderful way to motivate a client to get the necessary treatment achieved.

(5) Preparing modified diets ordered by a licensed health professional.

​

When shopping we take into caution any special diets and restrictions for the client. All basic food plans for the most common ailments with clients will be discussed with the initial meeting. A plan will then be created. 

​

(6) Assisting with laundry, housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, or other household chores.

​

Grandma's Helper has Home Care Companions that have been trained and have even been personally employed by me. The exceptional care of the client and the home is what we strive to provided to the client and the client's representatives. Receipts are provided to the client or client's representative for all shopping trips and are added on the following weeks bill if funds are not available by client on or around the time purchase.
